I was interested in searching how web sites are designed. So I did a search on untitled. The results kind of reflected what I was worried about. In Google it returned a result of 101,000,000. The first few results reflected the name untitled as a name of a band or group. However, as I got further down it showed what I really was looking for and that was the search engine finding in the meta tags the untitled.html part. With further research I identified these web sites as being people setting up their own personal web sites. I think html software needs to address this so that people are allowed to define their own meta descriptions rather then untitled.html or untitled.
Now as I did a search on untitled.html, my results reflected a big decrease in the numbers from 101,000,000 to 4,520,000 which is a huge difference. However, a lot of these also showed as professional web sites, or designed by people that should know better about web design.
Now when looking at designing a web site, people should at least understand that the meta descriptions and page titles should be changed to reflect the page and its description and not left alone or unaltered.
